Free Financial Education For The Public? Absolutely!
NAFL has taken a lead in several communities both professional and public to try to help ease the suffering caused by the economic downturn. With National unemployment numbers reported in May 2009 by the Bureau of Labor and Statistics raised to 14.5 Million (National Rate of 9.2%), it is becoming increasingly difficult for families to pay bills and know what their options are before facing foreclosure.
Our goal is to raise awareness and provide public services through webinars and in-person events to arm the public with real knowledge of where to go, how to navigate the system, the right questions to ask, and give hope for the future.
